Sanne Lovén Rolén received her MFA in textiles from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design 2024 and her bachelor from the same university 2022.

Lovén Rolén’s artistic practice revolves around the relationship between humans and animals, and the hierarchies that shape it, often explored through everyday, human-coded objects placed in new contexts. Using textiles as her primary material, she works with a deliberate sense of carelessness—visible seams, loose threads, and skewed forms—as a way of questioning ideas of order, control, and perfection. The playful, tactile, and analogue expression opens up a critical perspective on consumer society and the structures we rarely reflect upon.
